Harrison-Dudley Powers Mobiles in Another One-Run Battle
RedPocket carries a late lead before Ogden rallies for a 7–6 victory
OGDEN, Utah — The RedPocket Mobiles built an early advantage Wednesday night at Lindquist Field, but the Ogden Raptors rallied late to hand them a 7–6 loss. After Ogden scored once in the first inning, RedPocket answered with two runs in the second. Justin Johnson brought home Jordan Harrison-Dudley on an error, and Marco Martinez followed by driving in Johnson to put the Mobiles in front, 2–1.
Harrison-Dudley delivered the biggest swing of the night in the third, launching a three-run home run to center field that scored Spence Coffman and Gianni Horvat and stretched RedPocket's lead to 5–1. He finished 2-for-3 with a double, a home run, three RBIs, two runs scored, and a walk. The Mobiles also stayed aggressive on the bases, collecting five stolen bases, including two from Coffman and one each from Horvat, Johnson, and Martinez.
Ogden chipped away with three runs in the fourth and tied the game in the sixth. RedPocket reclaimed the lead in the eighth when Ravaughn Morgan's fielder's choice brought home Maury Weaver, but the Raptors answered in the bottom half on Sebastian Greico's two-run homer. Agnel Miranda gave the Mobiles 2.2 strong relief innings, allowing one unearned run, but RedPocket could not mount another rally in the ninth. It was the second straight one-run loss in Ogden, with Harrison-Dudley's power performance standing out in another tightly contested game.
