OGDEN, Utah — The RedPocket Mobiles jumped ahead 2–0 in the second inning Thursday night at Lindquist Field, but the Ogden Raptors responded with an offensive surge and pulled away for a 24–7 victory. Justin Johnson opened the scoring with a solo home run to right field, and Andy Valdes later crossed the plate on a wild pitch. Ogden answered with four runs in the bottom of the second, five in the third, and five more in the fourth to take control.
Johnson led RedPocket's offense, finishing 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBIs. Josiah Chavez went 3-for-4 with a walk, an RBI, and a run scored, while Braylon Bishop collected two hits in five at-bats. Marquis Jackson added a solo home run in the seventh and scored twice, and Valdes supplied the Mobiles' only double. RedPocket finished with 12 hits and four walks but left 10 runners on base.
The Mobiles continued to compete through the final inning, scoring four runs in the ninth. Chavez and Jordan Harrison-Dudley each drew bases-loaded walks before Johnson singled to left field to bring home Chavez and Spence Coffman. Ogden finished with 25 hits and five home runs, including two apiece from Colson Lawrence and Sebastian Greico, while Hank Dodson homered and drove in five. The late RedPocket rally trimmed the deficit, but the Raptors completed the 24–7 win.
