Mobiles Storm Back and Steal a Ninth-Inning Thriller
Jordan Harrison-Dudley delivers the go-ahead hit as RedPocket rallies past Missoula, 8–7
MISSOULA, Mont. — The RedPocket Mobiles erased a four-run deficit and scored in each of the final four innings Tuesday night, rallying for an 8–7 victory over the Missoula PaddleHeads. Missoula built a 5–1 lead through four innings behind four home runs, but RedPocket began its comeback in the sixth when Spence Coffman and Jordan Harrison-Dudley both hit solo shots to center field.
The Mobiles tied the game in the seventh. Kishon Frett scored on a throwing error, and Coffman followed with an RBI single to bring home Braylon Bishop. Missoula briefly moved back ahead on Nich Klemp's second home run of the night, but RedPocket answered again in the eighth when Josiah Chavez scored on a wild pitch and Marquis Jackson singled home Frett for a 7–6 lead.
After Missoula tied the game in the bottom of the eighth, Coffman opened the ninth with his fourth hit of the night and later scored when Harrison-Dudley singled to center field. Harrison-Dudley finished 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBIs, while Coffman went 4-for-5 with a double, a homer, two RBIs, and two runs scored. Frett also played a major role, going 3-for-4 with three doubles and three runs scored, while Jackson added two hits, an RBI, and a stolen base.
Juan Abreu worked around three walks in the bottom of the ninth, striking out two and keeping Missoula off the board to preserve the win. RedPocket finished with 14 hits, five stolen bases, and its first victory after a difficult stretch of late-inning losses. This time, the Mobiles were the team delivering the final answer.
