Bishop Blasts Two Homers in Mobiles’ Late Push
Braylon Bishop drives in two and sparks RedPocket’s offense in a 7–5 loss to Glacier
KALISPELL, Mont. — Braylon Bishop gave the RedPocket Mobiles an immediate spark Sunday afternoon in Kalispell, launching a leadoff home run to center field to put RedPocket ahead in the first inning. Glacier answered with a solo homer from Tommy Rover in the bottom half, then moved in front with single runs in the second and third, but Bishop's early swing set the tone for a Mobiles offense that kept battling through the final inning.
Bishop delivered again in the eighth, crushing his second solo home run of the game to center field and cutting Glacier's lead to 7–3. He finished 2-for-4 with two home runs, two RBIs, and two runs scored, accounting for two of RedPocket's five runs. The two-homer performance highlighted another strong day for Bishop at the top of the order and gave the Mobiles life late after Glacier had built a five-run advantage.
RedPocket continued the rally in the ninth. T.J. McKenzie scored on a Josiah Chavez groundout, and Kishon Frett followed with a solo home run to center field to bring the Mobiles within two. Chavez finished with a double and two RBIs, while Jonathan Smith added two hits, Justin Johnson doubled, and Frett supplied RedPocket's third home run of the afternoon.
Glacier ultimately held on for the 7–5 win behind Andrew Collins' four-RBI day and six strong innings from Zach Longshore. Adam Christopher worked six innings for RedPocket, while Malik Binns finished with a scoreless eighth in relief. The final score went Glacier's way, but Bishop's two-homer game gave the Mobiles a standout performance and helped fuel a late push that kept the game alive until the end.
