Mobiles Power Past Chukars in 15–8 Victory
Jordan Harrison-Dudley homers twice, Marquis Jackson drives in four, and Blayne Huter earns the win
IDAHO FALLS, Idaho — The RedPocket Mobiles opened their series in Idaho Falls with a 15–8 victory Friday night, collecting 17 hits and scoring in seven different innings. Braylon Bishop opened the scoring with an RBI single in the second, and Hector Nieves followed with a two-run homer in the third. After the Chukars pulled within one, RedPocket steadily rebuilt the lead and eventually broke the game open with four runs in both the sixth and seventh innings.
Marquis Jackson delivered his biggest performance of the season, finishing 2-for-3 with a double, a home run, a walk, four RBIs, and two runs scored. He scored on Gianni Horvat's RBI double in the fifth before launching a three-run homer to right field in the sixth, stretching the Mobiles' lead to 8–2. Jackson added a sacrifice fly in the seventh, bringing home Josiah Chavez for his fourth RBI of the night.
Jordan Harrison-Dudley continued to show his power with a two-homer performance of his own. He went 3-for-6 with three runs scored, two RBIs, a double, and a stolen base. Harrison-Dudley scored the game's first run on Bishop's second-inning single, then hit solo home runs in the seventh and eighth innings as RedPocket continued adding to its advantage. His two long balls gave the Mobiles valuable insurance after Idaho Falls mounted a four-run rally in the seventh.
Horvat added four hits and three RBIs, while Nieves homered and drove in two. Blayne Huter earned the victory after allowing three runs, two earned, over six innings, and Billy Rozakis followed with a perfect eighth. Jackson and Harrison-Dudley provided the centerpiece, combining for five hits, three home runs, six RBIs, and five runs scored to lead one of RedPocket's strongest offensive performances of the season.
