RedPocket Loses Pitcher’s Duel on Walk-Off Walk
Adam Christopher carries a shutout into the eighth before Glacier edges the Mobiles
KALISPELL, Mont. — The RedPocket Mobiles received their strongest starting pitching performance of the road trip Wednesday night, but the Glacier Range Riders rallied late for a 2–1 walk-off victory in Kalispell. Adam Christopher held Glacier scoreless through seven innings, allowing just four hits and two walks while keeping the game locked in a scoreless tie.
RedPocket finally broke through in the eighth. Marquis Jackson singled and stole second before advancing as Braylon Bishop reached base. Hector Nieves then grounded out to second, bringing Jackson home with the game's first run. Andy Valdes led the Mobiles with two hits, including a double, while Josiah Chavez also doubled as part of RedPocket's seven-hit night.
Glacier answered in the bottom of the eighth when Jake Millan hit a solo home run to tie the game. Christopher finished after 7.1 innings, allowing one run on four hits with five strikeouts. Agnel Miranda entered and escaped the remainder of the eighth, but three ninth-inning walks loaded the bases before Carson Hornung drew another walk to force home Alex Fernandes with the winning run.
The loss spoiled an excellent outing from Christopher and another late opportunity for the Mobiles. RedPocket outhit Glacier 7–4 and held the Range Riders scoreless for seven innings, but the offense managed only one run and Glacier completed the comeback without recording a hit in the ninth. The Mobiles are now 2-12 in one run games this season.
